Mythic Hungering Destroyer has additional mechanics not shown in this Normal and Heroic Hungering Destroyer guide. Footage of Hungering Destroyer for this boss guide is from PTR raid testing and some mechanics may look different or change when the Castle Nathria raid releases on live servers starting December 8th. The key to Hungering Destroyer is managing raid health by both correctly avoiding unnecessary damage (don't be in line with Volatile Eruptions unless it's literally on you) and by helping players with Gluttonous Miasma leech health. Targets with the Gluttonous Miasma debuff will be immune to traditional healing, but they will leech health off of allies within five yards. Stack them up with buddies or groups of buddies, keep the buddies healed and everything's gravy. Tanks can swap on Overwhelm (or as often as they like, really, swapping resets the amount the boss leeches from Hungering Strikes). Spread for Expunge but otherwise you can remain loosely stacked to help healers and miasma-d players. When the boss is full energy, you want to run from him to avoid his Consume.
