Namaste friends : Welcome to Nammane Ruchi Today I am sharing a tasty kheer recipe “Dry Fruits Kheer”. This kheer taste different from other kheer. DRY FRUITS KHHER (PAYASA) Ingredients Milk – ½ litre White Sugar – 1 Cup Custard powder – 2 tsp (Vanilla essence) Badam – 10 number Cashewnut – 10 number Dry dates – 5 number Raisin – 1 tbsp Pista – 10 number Ready made Badam mix – 2tbsp Poppy seeds – 1 tsp Green Cardamom – 3 number Method :- First soak Badam in hot water for 30 minutes and remove the skin, as same soak cashew nut along with poppy seeds for 15 minutes. Remove the seeds in Dates cut into two pieces and soak it in milk for 1 hour. Soak pista in hot water for 30 minutes and remove the skin, crush the cardamom into fine powder (keep all this ready before you start to prepare payasam) Add milk in a kadai, let it boil in medium heat., reserve ½ cup of milk for adding custard powder. Mean while prepare a fine paste of soaked dry fruits along with raisin. When milk get boiled simmer the flame and add sugar to it and mix it, let it boil for 2 more minutes. Add prepared dry fruits paste to the milk give a good stir and boil it 2 minutes. Now add custard powder to reserved milk mix well, add this to kadai stir it well. Add ready made Badam mix, mix it well and boil for 2 minutes. Kheer as got a thick consistency because of adding custard powder. Lastly add cardamom powder and give a good stir.
