(1989) The song was written and performed in loving memory of Judith Barsi, the adorable little girl who voiced Anne-Marie in the film. Judith was tragically murdered by her father in 1988, sixteen months before the films release in 1989, and with the recent passing of Irene Cara, the song holds an even more special place in my heart.
