Items Frequently Observed During Inspections - Animal Feed Program Industry Training Part 5 of 9

Mr. David Beard of the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) Animal Feed Program and Mr. Don McKechnie of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) review current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and Preventive Controls (PC) related observations from the field and provide clarifications on topics including employee training records, pest control, and food safety plans. This training was put together by WSDA Animal Feed Program with various speakers from WSDA, FDA, National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) and American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) to increase awareness and understanding of state and federal requirements for animal food. NOTE: We did encounter technical issues with our recording. So we had to go back later and match the slides up with the audio so there is not as much functionality in this than there was during the training.
