@3serio4 years ago I wish they’d take just take football and just put a new skin and effects on it. Let the logos be obviously derivative from an NFL counterpart. You can even remake mutant league football from the genesis where they had skeletons, maybe aliens playing. To keep it from being “sim” just have goofy animations. Like a strong arm qb throws an actual laser, somebody that’s real elusive just teleports as a juke animation. If you’re fast have fire under your feet, a good tracker could have some battletoad shit happening when he hits you. ...

And if you want to speak facts, look at the user score for madden, see how its dropped each year for the last 5 years to the lowest its ever been. People are getting fed up with madden and their lack of attention to the player base. They've stripped franchise mode down to nothing then left it as is since 2015. Gameplay is crappy animation driven garbage, but now we have the very ARCADE like X factors. 2k better bring it with whatever they do! ...

A modern 2k NFL game will without a doubt look closer to the current NBA 2k series that is absolutely riddled to the point of ruin with microtransactions. As much as Madden drives me nuts at least they keep the majority of their greed to MUT and leave the rest of the game playable without trying to make you buy something. Especially with MUT, madden is cartoon football at best... they sold us a game they knew was broken, then sold us op players in MUT to cover for it, rather than fixing the busted ass games... they should do the “arcade” version... let 2k make the sim one, their old games are still better than anything EA is capable of putting out... ...
